We’re celebrating the arrival of summer with our go-to summer drink — a margarita! We’re pairing two summer essentials to make a drink to enjoy all season long. Don’t worry — there is a non-alcoholic version your little ones or pregnant friends can enjoy too. Read below to get the full recipe from our friend Kim of Eat Sleep Wear!
Freeze watermelon cubes in freezer for 1-2 hours before prepping recipe. This really helps create that great frozen margarita texture. Remove from freezer when ready to blend.
Combine tequila, cointreau, lime juice, watermelon, ice, and basil leaves in blender. Blend until combined.
Rim glasses with salt (or sugar for my sweet tooths).
Pour into glasses and garnish with limes. Enjoy!
