How to Host: Galentine’s Day

February is here, which means Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. But first, we’re planning a get-together with our girlfriends to show them how much they mean to us!

Galentine's Day Invite Ideas

Pick a date and time that works best for your group and then plan accordingly. We suggest a brunch or a small dinner party the weekend before Valentine’s Day. Or why not celebrate during the week? Let’s just say it’s not a coincidence that Valentine’s Day is on wine Wednesday!

The Menu

Variety is key to ensure that there is something for everyone to enjoy. Some of our brunch favorites include fresh fruits, avocado toast bites, and donuts. We also suggest adding some fun beverages including make-your-own mimosas, “love you so matcha” lattes, and coffee — of  course.

Or if you enjoy baking, try a new recipe from one of our cookbooks or some of our favorite bloggers:

5-ingredient chocolate dipped peanut butter cookie
Vegan whole wheat chocolate chip banana bread
Dark chocolate covered coconut bars
Egg, avocado, tomato breakfast wrap
Golden Milk Chia Seed Pudding

To minimize prep-time, invite each of your friends to bring their favorite food.

The Décor
Galentine's Day Décor Ideas

Galentine’s Day is the perfect occasion to go all out when it comes to pink décor. Next time you’re at the farmers market, pick up some local fresh flowers as well. To make your space feel extra festive, try hanging some pom pom garlands (an added plus — they create the perfect backdrop for a group photo), and don’t forget to light your favorite candle!

Galentine's Day Party Favor Ideas

Send your gal pals home with something special that reminds them you love ‘em, a party favor! Some of our favorite treat-yourself gifts include a unique fair trade chocolate bar and bottle stopper. Or gift them with some of our spa-day favorites like a sugar scrub or soaking salt.

If you’re attending a Galentine’s Day celebration rather than hosting this year, don’t forget to bring a gift to show your appreciation for the host(ess). Our go-to gift is a custom candle in a reusable gift bag or blush-colored gift box. Happy celebrating!
