This article was written by Jacquelyn Kazas. Jacquelyn is the wonderful Event Designer behind Beijos Events. We loved collaborating with her, the entire Beijos Events Team, and the amazing vendors behind this shoot. Keep reading for their tips on how to host a festive holiday brunch this season.

Our idea was Christmas morning and having a pretty table for brunch. A lot of tables are set for Christmas dinner, but the morning is usually my favorite part of the day. My family will open presents under the tree and then have a delicious brunch to tie ourselves over till dinner. It’s a special time and everyone is happy talking about what Santa brought them! The setting is light and bright, and everyone is feeling particularly festive!

The Little Market always has the prettiest tabletop options, and they paired so well with Minted’s paper goods. Air Plant Design Studio sent us plants to use throughout the table as well! We used them in wreaths, place settings, and along the runner. Such an unexpected touch to holiday décor, but one I can definitely get on board with!

Here are a few tips!

When setting the table, I always love to do it the night before or even a few days before — that way you can be fully present and enjoy the holiday with your family.

Buy pieces that you will continue to use throughout the year. I love The Little Market because the pieces can be interchanged for different holidays or even day-to-day use! I have used these gold plates for Easter and Mother’s Day, and the mugs and napkins are perfect for your daily coffee and dinner!

Try doing the unexpected. I love that we used air plants this year for our holiday table. You don’t often see them in holiday arrangements, but if you think about how they last, they are the perfect piece to add to any holiday table!

Personalize pieces for your guests. I always like adding place cards or fun little details to make my guests feel special. These thoughtful touches never go unnoticed!
