We are so excited to welcome a new partner to The Little Market, Homeboy Industries!
Based locally out of Downtown Los Angeles, Homeboy Industries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization empowering individuals who have been formerly incarcerated and gang-involved. Every year, thousands of individuals are welcomed into Homeboy Industries with access to essential services and/or to participate in an 18-month re-entry and employment program.
Homeboy Industries is the largest gang intervention, rehabilitation, and re-entry program in the world. It provides a range of resources including educational programs, legal services, mental health services, laser tattoo removal, and solar panel training.
This week at The Little Market, we launched new PURPOSEfull TOTES, with 50 percent of the purchase price of each tote being donated to Homeboy Industries and the team’s incredible work. Shop the totes here, knowing you are giving back to a meaningful cause and empowering not only the team at Homeboy Industries, but also artisan women in Bangladesh who carefully sew each tote from jute fabric.
In addition to our newest collaboration, we are thrilled to expand upon our custom offerings with screen-printing through Homeboy Industries. You can choose from any style of our tote bags (available in five styles for every occasion), create a design with a logo, phrase, or custom creation with our Design Team, and tell us your deadline. (We only need about one week to turn them around!) To learn more about custom screen-printing and get in touch with us, visit our site.
We love partnering with Homeboy Industries on screen-printing opportunities, as well as Homegirl Cafe, one of Homeboy Industries’ incredible social enterprises. To shop delicious coffee and snacks from the makers behind Homegirl Cafe, visit our collection.
