Fall is just around the corner, and we’re ready for chic sweaters and endless pumpkin spice lattes. Our homes are dressed from top to bottom with festive flair, but this seasonal style doesn’t need to be limited to just our daily living space. September through November is the perfect opportunity to add autumnal touches at every occasion, and we’re especially excited to do so at upcoming bridal showers! From décor to dining, we’re sharing tips to ensure your fall shower is festive and fashionable, and far from cliché.
We may love all things fall but that doesn’t mean that every inch of our bridal shower space needs to be filled with bright orange pumpkins. We’re more in favor of subtle, seasonal touches from rustic woven baskets to apple cider candles.
These sisal woven baskets are our magic weapon, multi-functional for celebrations and beyond. They work wonders for gathering mini pumpkins and gourds galore, to collecting gifts and cards. We love the look of grouping them, two or three together, to decorate a variety of sized spaces. When it doubt, go simple: basket plus beautiful bounty equals home run.
For more delicate decorations, a natural woven vase maintains the rustic, fall vibe but in a smaller scale, allowing you to top each table at your shower with festive floral arrangements, such as dahlias and mums, in shades of maroon and deep orange.
The perfect addition to every place setting — and a great gift for your girlfriends to take home from your shower? The “Thanks A Bunch” candle in any of our seasonal scents, though we’re particularly partial to apple cider and pumpkin pie.
When it comes to the cuisine, we say stick with the seasonal style theme and go all out rustic chic with both the serveware and menu.
Our wooden serveware is a perfect accompaniment for a fall shower, serving everything from seasonal salads to amazing cheese to meat platters.
A celebration isn’t complete with décor and style alone. When it comes to the menu, Sarah Simms Hendrix at Lady & Larder is our go-to gal. Her cheese and cured meat platters never fail to inspire us for celebrations, bridal showers included!
Happy fall showers to all brides-to-be!
