Nothing makes a space come to life like some natural greenery! But for people who don’t have a “green thumb,” the idea of taking care of plants can be daunting. Read below to find the perfect plant for you and style, space, and desired maintenance level.
A great plant for beginners, succulents don’t require too much water (just a lot of sunlight). We love the sunny desert vibe of succulents. A single succulent is a great way to decorate a small space — put one in a simple Moroccan ceramic cup for the perfect accent for your desk, bathroom, shelf, window, you name it!
Fiddle-leaf Fig Tree
These beautiful trees are known to be a bit high-maintenance. They need a good amount of light and should be watered fairly frequently so that their soil is always damp. However, we think these trees are worth the effort! They come in a variety of heights and look great in a neutral planter or, if you have a larger tree, in a laundry hamper.
We love fresh herbs in the kitchen because they not only look good, they also smell great! Some of our favorites include lavender, basil, and mint because they are easy to take care of and fun to use in recipes and around the house.
